I don't think ending it is feasible

quote:so if a cop kicks in your door at night and doesn't identify do you go for a weapon or just lie down and hope it's not an intruder intent on harming your family? There's a reason cops have rules and saying ok sure the cop fricked up doesn't mean the VICTIM deserves to be killed
Regardless of whether cop is right or wrong, why do something stupid?

He was in a parking spot. It’s hard to tell if there was a concrete barrier at the edge of the slot, but there was no roadway ahead.

If I were just sitting in my car eating and a cop accosted me when I had done nothing wrong I would probably be scared and angry too. But I wouldn't try to run because that wouldn't lead to any good result.
like an ambush and there's zero evidence the kid even knew it was a cop. That's why cops have rules and he broke every one imaginable. And AGAIN, his pc was the car ran from him previously except that IT WAS THE WRONG frickING CAR

frick the cops. They are not your friend.

That's the kind of action a dirty cop might perform in what he thought was retribution of a deal gone wrong

Meanwhile civilians, especially black civilians, are responsible for the majority of violence in this country.
But yeah acab has done wonders for our cities.

I understand the sentiment and actually agree. But this is an opportunity to examine police behavior without all the hysterical shrieking from race hustlers who don't really give a shite about the truth. So maybe concentrate on that
I mean, isn't that precisely the point? This case won't receive nearly the coverage it should to actually affect the 'examination of police behavior' because it doesn't fit the desired race based narrative.

Well he is. Its all on video and this dude thinks there is "more to the story".....
He and a few others seem uncapable of forming a common sense thought to this event that started and ended with the cop making terrible decisions.
Well, you fricking fell on your face with that one, didn't you.

I've given up on the nation as a whole being able to have reasonable discussions about this stuff. It just won't happen because it conflicts with too many narratives

Police Chief William McManus told the San Antonio Report that Brennand’s actions were “entirely against policy and training that we receive.”
Tactically, the officer should not have placed himself in front of an open door of a car that was turned on, he said. And once the officer “cleared the door and was no longer in danger of being knocked down or pulled out of the car, he was not in a position where he should have used deadly force.”
The second round of shots was also against policy.
“The driver was going in the opposite direction, away from the officer,” he said. “There’s no way I could look at that, or anyone could look at it, and try to justify what happened.”

Exactly. Plus his 17 year old girlfriend was in the car. The kid has an instinctual obligation to protect the girl and himself. All he knows is someone ripped his door open and yelled get out.
I had told my wife and kids their vehicle is a powerful weapon and also your greatest means of escape. I have said if a bad guy ever tries to get you while you are in your car, use your accelerator and steering wheel to protect and/or save yourself.
Maybe this kid has been told the same and he thought he was being carjacked. Maybe all he could think to do in that split second was "flee". This kid is blameless and in my opinion acted reasonably and possibly heroically to protect his girlfriend.

You brought up the point about "who runs from a cop in reverse when there is nothing in front of you", which wasn't true. It makes sense that you'd resort to name calling since you can't defend your statement.

I've stated several times that cop was in the wrong. Why is it impossible for you to discern the difference between getting the story right versus defending one side or the other?

There was a case wherein a resident shot a cop who entered their home. The resident was arrested but won in court. I believe the cop survived.
