EK = President Yanukovych
WK = President Zalenskyy
EK is now the buffer state.
It is the logical exit strategy.
It is either concession, escalation, or political subdivision.
I would prefer the latter, especially with the frickery that took place in Ukraine on behalf of Putin and Obama.
