I loved living there. It was so much different in the early 80's. LV BLVD was unrecognizable when I went back this summer. Back then we could actually ride our bikes down LV BLVD.

New Aegis systems have proven pretty effective in tests against hypersonic types. They seem to be vulnerable on the glide

Still in testing, not fully proven. I have no doubt we will figure it out, we just do not have anything fully built and ready. Hypersonic is still a weakness in our defense.

Wasn’t this same video supposed to be the ICBMs that Putin launched yesterday?

You guys must remember that the tail wags the dog in America. Aircraft carriers that can't even enter war theaters due to missile threats and vaunted aircraft that can't fly.

29% of f35s mission capable. Locked Martan getting paid but can't maintain aircraft.

$90,000 for a bag of bushings that any competent machine shop could stamp out.

Half the pentagon budget is money laundering.

And remember, the US is not a European land power. Nor is NATO. Russia is Europe's land power.

Russia is showing great restraint. They are holding Russian ethnic regions. They dont want to level Ukraine or rule Ukraine.

But they are fully capable of destroying Ukraine tomorrow if need be.

I think it is a weakness in everyone's system if you have missiles capable of traveling at 8000 mph. You would need really high speed computers involved to be able to affect consistent solutions to competent builds. Last I heard Northrop was working on a prototype "quantum" computer that outstrips Google and Rigetti's.

It was IRBM which is the same as ICBM except for distance traveled. This was confirmed by the Pentagon

I'm sure Pooty Poo is using North Koreans because he has a surplus of ground troops available.

Is that why the US military got kicked out of Afghanistan where the taliban still rule? Pretty sure we went there to defeat them….it didn’t work

I shouldn’t be surprised at ignorance regarding military affairs but whatever believe we got “kicked” out and we lost. That’s fine lol. It’s just very moronic.

What you fail to realize is The alternative to leaving is wiping countries off the map literally, not figuratively. If we wanted tht piece of land we could have starved their people and bombed then into a midwestern american terrain but we didn’t. Why? Because we would be killing millions of people who have nothing to do with the terrorist.

We know you cannot install religions or governments in places like this unless we are willing to kill everyone. I don’t think killing everyone would make us very popular worldwide but the way many of you talk about “losing” wars don’t understand the cost to win them.

So you piece them up by killing important leaders etc. etc etc.

I suppose the emphasis on "shorter range" is indicative that he believes Europe is his enemy.

Russia, on the other hand, now has demonstrated that it has a hypersonic MIRV (i.e., Multiple Independently Targetable Reentry Vehicle) intermediate-range missile that can strike every city in Europe withing 20 minutes. It covers up to 5,000 kilometers. NATO has no answer to this threat.

Does that sound like a fricking SCUD missile?
I'm not even going to ridicule you on this one. Lol

Well, doing what you describe sure doesn't work!
And it's made us pretty damn unpopular!
Especially to those living in the countries we wreak havok, disrupt their preferred way of life and governing, destroy their towns and cities.
Then just walk away.

The solution is to stay the hell out to begin with.

Then maybe we should have done that instead of "killing them sofly" for 20 years.

If only we had a program with a kewl name, like;

Immaculate Constellation
