Always Obama's fault

Sad this thread has turned into an Obama thread.

Basically, the separatists have the crash site. No one can confirm if they have black box.

Whoever did this should pay but I don't think the current administration will see to it.

Nothing will come of it.

The last time the Russians shot down a passenger plane we were in the middle of a 50 year semi-cold war. Nothing happened then either.

next crisis.

So lets say that Russia did take this plane down and it wasn't the separatists... What would the motivation be?

I can't think of any logical reason that would other than it was an accident and they thought they were firing on Ukranian aircraft. But why would they be firing when they have the separatists to do that for them?

What would you suggest, young bastion of intemperance? What would our government have done, historically, if Russians had shot down a plane carrying US citizens?

And they are not letting investigators on scene

but released a press statement saying they will.

The shoot down has nothing to do with Obama. The response has everything to do with him and I don't think he has the courage to do anything of significance if it was the Russians.

Much more than removing our Jupiter missiles in Turkey.

Again, what would you do? What might we have done historically?

Korean Air Lines Flight 007, also known as KAL 007 or KE007, was a Korean Air Lines Boeing 747 civilian airliner shot down by a Soviet Su-15TM fighter on September 1, 1983, near Moneron Island just west of Sakhalin island. 269 passengers and crew, including US congressman Larry McDonald, were aboard KAL 007; there were no known survivors. An official investigation concluded that the course deviation was likely caused by pilot error in configuring their air navigation system.

We didn't do anything then.

fricking crazy that there had never been incidents of magnitude involving 777's and Malaysia air has 2 of them within 4 months.

You sure we're talking about the same crisis. And the proposal to remove the Jupiters was a concession to the Soviets, not a penalty.

I'd throw a party for Vladimir Putin in the Kremlin.

I know it is a waste of my energy to type this, but... Folks, 290+ bodies are strewn across fields. Someone's loved one is there, dead through no fault of their own. Just once, could we tamp down the rhetoric until we actually know some facts. Blame can be assessed when facts are known.

Bro, seriously.

Well since you sprung my trap, 62 Americans died on that flight, including McDonald. And that one originated in the US. And the shootdown was intentional because the Soviets were convinced the aircraft was collecting intelligence. And after the fact, according to Soviet information declassified in the early 1990s, they harrassed our Navy while pretending to conduct a thorough search for wreckage and materials.

You have a hell of a lot of nerve trying to bully people off of this board.

Sorry your hero is making an arse of himself-again.

But the last time I checked, this is a board for the free exchange of opinion and you don't get to intimidate someone's "old lady" off of it.

I'm trying to read this thread to get information. All she has done is act like a typical feminist attention whore.

She needs to shut the frick up with her bullshite and stop clogging the thread.

One more reason why I hate feminists. They always find a way to make everything about themselves.
