Rush has never visited this board apparently.

I had an optimism about American exceptionalism...but since the Democrats took over Congress in 2007, it's been swiftly eroded.

I listened to most of Rushs show yesterday. Did you? The linked article was as usual incomplete. He was describing "survivors guilt" in response to the comments from RWs friends saying RW suffered from it.
He did say that suicide often stems from very pessimistic view of the world and that is a leftist trait. But at no time did I hear him say what the OP title says.
Par for the course.

Translation: Rex creates yet another biased and misleading post.

Nobody fear mongers like the right.

The right is far more doom and gloom than the left.

Rush is just taking a page out of Ann Coulter's book...make disgusting and ridiculous remarks and watch your ratings go up.

Rush is a fat POS that makes a living rubbing salt in every open wound he can find.

You might want to go read the transcript on Rush's website.

Rex is just like the liberal media. Making things up that idiots will believe.

And it's so typical of this board... people with reading problems calling me a liar. The real funny ones can't understand the difference between a direct quotation and something that's said implicitly, as though they never advanced beyond second grade.

Holy shite, what was disgusting about the segment? He was showing compassion to what people were going through and fearful of copycat suicides for people in depression. Talk about straw men. geez.

What he said wasn't that bad.

Still, people who act like Rush is a genius amuse me. Mark Steyn is about 10x more insightful than Rush on every subject, but most will prefer Rush because he speaks to them in a dumbed down language they understand.

I listened to Rush yesterday. Your link is out of context...just like all 'anti Rush' websites. Rush was very respectful of Robin Williams. He did warn that the admiration and love shown to Williams could trigger unhinged depress people to do copy cat suicides in order to illicit love.

This does happen. 2 students at Plano HS in Texas attended the memorial of a fellow student who committed suicide. They were so moved by the outpouring of affection that they decided to kill themselves.

The administration banned any subsequent memorial services so as not to trigger more suicides.

No, it's not. I posted three segments where he directly linked Williams's suicide to his leftist attitudes. But inasmuch as you've always been Rush's biggest apologist on this board I'm not surprised by your defense.

Hey, Rex. Rush just spent his first 20 minutes blowing your link out of the water. Proving that it was out of context on purpose point by point. Absolutely pathetic that you fell for it.

If you heard it (which I'm sure you didn't) you would be ashamed for starting such a stupid thread based on lies.

He could only do that by retracting his own words, so, no, I'm sure he didn't.

And you would be wrong...again. Let me explain something about context, Rex.

Zach...Listens to the entire show. Hears what is said. Is confirmed by Rush's replay of quotes from show in context.

Rex... Listens to NONE of the show. Listens to NONE of the replays. Reads media matters excerpts.

Question... Who is the authority on the context? Zach or Rex? Hmmmm?

You didn't explain anything about context. You only explained your own personal reasons for defending the dirtbag.

The audio excerpts and the transcripts prove everything I said.

Did he today deny his own words from yesterday?
