He did not want to vote for the resolution. He immediately stated to us staffers, me in particular, that Bush/Cheney were going to use the attacks as a precursor for 'invading' Iraq. He engaged in conspiracy theories
So they forced him to vote yes for this? Fine , but he meekly buckled to pressure & voted yes. Barbara Lee was mocked , received death threats , called unpatriotic, etc.... but she held to her convictions & her spot on prediction.

Barbara Lee is what Libertarians fantasize Ron Paul to be on foreign policy.

I proudly voted for him.

I peed beside him in IAH once. Resisted the urge to shake his hand.

Did you vote for Biden in 2020? If so, you voted for a man who voted for the War on Terror, the Patriot Act and the War in Iraq. Answer the damn question.

I'm fine with Joe Biden making it right today by leaving. Ron Paul voted for these wars & the best defense is that he was " under pressure " from staff. I'm sorry that it upsets you that Barbara Lee is everything you Libertarians claim Ron Paul is on foreign policy.

Lee didn't succumb to peer pressure, death threats, being called unpatriotic, etc.....but voted against this nonsense & made a prescient speech while Paul voted " yay". She called this 20 years ago so I'm not impressed with the OP.

Is that why Congrees voted 420-1 for this? Including Ron Paul when Barbara Lee bravely called this 2 decades ago.

Translation: I happily voted for an establishment warmonger who voted for the very war I am criticizing Ron Paul for supporting. Additionally, the candidate I voted for also voted for the Iraq War, which Ron Paul voted against. Your being anti-war is a lie, just like everything left of center these days in American politics.

magine how much better off this country would be if Ron had been elected

This is why Rand should be on deck after Trump. The Pauls were outsiders before Trump made it cool.

Did you vote for Joe Biden? If not, say so. If you did, shut the frick up, as you voted for a bigger warmonger than Paul could ever be.

I was derided for years on this board for supporting Ron Paul. Only about 10 or 15% of the people on this website supported him back then. The whole lot of you can kiss my fricking arse.
