Trump did GREAT with deregulation and staying out of wars. Things in his direct control.

Honestly, he doesn't have to because he's being painted that way. He's quickly losing that support.
It's not really his fault. He's always been in a tough position. I think he's known all along his path was very narrow. That's why he hasn't announced yet. But, it really seems like the establishment has its hooks in him now.
I for one will never vote for an establishment candidate. I really hope his changes course. He can take on Trump. That's fine. But, if he's GOP establishment, he won't get my vote.
