Has Trump made a statement like this? Or is he still bashing Desantis?

Trump will follow along in a couple of weeks.

He's figured out that just doing whatever DeSantis does a few weeks later is a reasonable path.

He's already made a statement. Seems like DeSantis is the one behind. Better late than never I guess

I don’t think this particular viewpoint regarding the matter of funding Ukraine in this thing is exactly new. It’s actually pretty commonplace, even amongst everyday Joes out here. So Desantis didn’t drop some mind bending truth bomb on us here.

You would be doing cartwheels if Trump posted this before DeSantis.

but foreign policy critiques of an ongoing military action by a governor of the opposition party is new. not a us senator. not even a leadership member of house.
just a political wanna be

he should just declare his candidacy now.

I don't know who is more scared of DeSantis. The Trump fanatics, or the leftist.

Why are y'all so obsessed over him announcing?

He'll be along in 2-3 weeks to mimic DeSantis with a substantive statement. It's his MO right now. He'll realize that "I'm the greatest so this wouldn't be a thing if I were there" didn't make the waves DeSantis did, and he'll follow as he's done for the last several months.

Which is ok, really. If we don't end up with DeSantis, maybe we'll get Trump as a cheap imitator, which is probably decent.

I’ve said nothing of the sort, and in fact this is a very demonstrative example of one of the primary thing that plagues us - overgeneralizing and/or stereotyping. I know everyone loves this term so I’ll drop it like it’s hot - nuance. An individual’s support of a particular politician or candidate is (or SHOULD BE) much, much more nuanced than that. In fact there are probably no two people amongst us who share the exact same opinions, principles and expectations. If we would remember and acknowledge that more often our discourse would take on a much more affable and cooperative tone.

You have to give along to get along.
