Conservatives don’t do mobilizing, and we certainly don’t do organizing. We basically have three modes: evangelism (telling people what they should believe), electioneering (convincing them to pull the lever), and advocacy. None of these really empower people to fight for themselves. Advocates can swoop in heroically, like knights in armor, but they can’t do everything, they can’t be everywhere at once, and when they depart the field they still leave behind their protectees as an untrained rabble.

dont forget boycotts.
The right brought nike and the NFL to its knees (figuratively of course. not for the anthem).

This has been on my mind a lot lately.
Conservatives don't pack the streets, for reasons discussed often. Media and sports related companies make statements all the time. While it would be great if energy companies would pick a day and say something like, "No Oil for California Day", every day Americans need to have their voices felt.
There is no reason conservatives shouldn't do boycotts more effectively. There are three pillars to the progressive wing - academia, media/entertainment, and non-profit orgs. Unions aren't as powerful, and their members vote all over now, save for pubic sector or maybe teacher unions. Conservatives should pick one weekend and declare it "Movie Free". Start with something simple. Maybe even pick Star Wars given they've politicized that one so badly.

The reason is conservatives and independents aren’t angry at the world. We choose to peaceably defeat progressivism at the voting booth. We have jobs and family, no time to hit the streets in protest.
However, there will bd a breaking point if the left is allowed to get what they want

Until the right stands up, not figuratively, but literally stand up and mobilize.... we will continue our path to socialism.
After voting for Trump many sat down. Now we have the opportunity to rise up and make a lasting difference over the next 5 years by demanding the people we vote for to do what we elected them to do.
SILENCE is not working for us. It's why Romeny has power. We thought "hmm.. well, he is GOP" and that has allowed decades of erosion for our youth.
SILENCE is no longer an option.

It's also why slim minorities capture the attention - they're willing to be loud. If we'd stop buying their products while bemoaning their politics, it might get noticed. How many people bitch about Nike but keep buying their gear?

We agree. Global Warming Believers are a cult as they are VERY evangelical in their actions and beliefs as well.
The Evangelicals of the 80's are not like the ones today as far as my experiences with the exceptions of those areseholes from Kansas. I see a lot of live and let live with the Christians. However, if you are not a true believer in the Religion of Man Made Global Warming, you are a heretic and they want to legislate your silence and take your money for some pie in the sky vision of saving Mankind.
Oh, the irony of it all.
