If RFK Jr. decides to run as an independent, it would in essence guarantee a Rep victory. My question is, do you think he would get the family treatment from the CIA?

Yes. He espouses everything the left wants to keep under wraps.

Exact opposite would happen. He would take more GOP votes and give Dems the win.

I wish he would run as an Indy. It would be too obvious for the CIA to take him out. Dig up dirt now, that's a different matter (doesn't even have to be true).

He's polling at nearly 25% among Dems. I would be interested to see what he would poll at among Reps but I think it would be a huge move in favor of the red team.

I've heard the modern CIA has determined that killing U.S. politicians is not a good return on investment. It hurts the nation too badly and that damage can have negative consequences on the CIA. Plus they have more fun methods of taking out U.S. politicians.

For example they can create fake dossiers, give it to the FBI National Security division, create a national spectacle by whipping the media in to a tizzy, retire or planned firing, sell books, get on news programs and profit.

Yes, and they will kill Trump to if he wins.

Why would you think that?

You underestimate the Reps ability to snatch defeat from the jaws of victory.

At this point I think most in the Rep party are actively trying to keep from gaining power.

In super-early primary polling.

Anyone who thinks he would be taking a quarter of Brandon's voters in a general election is on drugs.

I sure hope he does. Puts Biden out. Which could happen any second.

There are a lot of GOP voters who will not vote for Trump OR Desantis, only one but not the other. There are a lot of GOP voters who like someone 'more reasonable and less mean'. These are 60+ oldies who like politeness and RFK is polite.

I don't believe the 25% Dem for RFK. I've seen it much lower. He's higher than other Dems but they are in single digits.

I think he'd pull votes from both parties. Not enough to win (ostensibly), just enough to frick everything up and it'd take 3 months of counting for Biden to win.

Well, there is another issue to consider that's very important and people on this board may not relate to it.
There are a TON of Dem voters who are illiterate. They vote for the guy with a 'D' by their name. They will not vote for an 'I.'

Well that's not what I said. He's polling at that against Biden for Primary. If he's running in the general, I do think he would get a lot of votes. Not 25% of Dem votes, but maybe 8 or 9%, which would be a HUGE deal.

Dems win regardless. Nothing has been done about ballot harvesting/fraud/mail in voting/machine manipulation.
