Restaurant refuses to serve on-duty LEOs

In all fairness, I wouldn’t eat out anywhere while on-duty as a LEO or anywhere off-duty where they knew me to be a LEO.
Cops should’ve told the guy, “OK, just remember 56 is speeding and 54 is impeding traffic; we’ll see ya on down the road.”

Can’t copy from the sight but essentially the bartender tells the on-duty officers we don’t serve you guys anymore. The officers laugh and then the employee convinced them he’s serious and they leave.

Sounds like a good place to set up a DUI checkpoint for LVPD.

Police should boycott that place and I recommend any good citizens of Vegas do the same.

ETA: Cops should also designate the place as the dropoff point for those on early release.

If it’s actually shop policy and posted then I support the shop. Right of association is a basic freedom. The shop owner doesn’t want to serve uniform LE, it’s supposed to be private property so go for it. And I should be able to choose who will be my clientele in my shop.
If it is not the shop owners policy then dude needs to be fired and denied unemployment benefits.
