Rescinding DACA was stable genius

I think rescinding DACA back in Sept. was Trump’s smartest move. THe Democrats had a predictable, full on, #resist sky screaming meltdown about how mean Donald Trump was to rescind the Order and not add more DACAs.

I think the whole thing was calculated as a bargaining chip, bc now the Democrats are now in a position where they have to agree to let them stay. And if anyone can stay - fine. Let em. SO LONG AS THEY CAN NEVER BECOME CITIZENS OR VOTE.

We are taking about approximately 800,000 people. A finite, fixed number of people. They are already registered. We know who they are. If they frick up - we can kick em out, change their immigration status - whatever.

When he rescinded that idiotic, unconstitutional fiat issued by Obama - he laid the groundwork for the Democrats who spent a month meeting down over how mean that is - to ageee to the Wall and ending chain migration. Which are TWO huge immigration problems.

Essentially. Letting the DACA Dreamers stay isn’t giving up anything - especially if their inability to vote is tattooed on their drivers license and put into law. In exchange, the Democrats feelings are managed, we get a wall and end chain migration.

It was really smart.
