Your use of the word Trumpkins makes you look unintelligent.

trumpkins are the ones that have slavish loyalty to trump.

And, a better way to characterize it is, people who recognize that government is the problem hate the people who clearly have been in the beltway so long that they are part of the problem.

I don't think this is unique to republicans or trumpkins though. Where do you think bernie sanders support came from? People who thought washington was functional?

All that said, the fact you think it's bizarre is part of the problem.

No it isn't. The republican party being at war with itself openly, like this, is bizarre. Every group will have disagreements, hell, they will voice their disagreements publicly. But there are people here wishing death upon people who voted for a shitty bill, that didn't do anything that they were promised. This is not normal, and is bizarre.

quote:

like so many liberals, view politics as 100% a team sport.

many on this board are really fricking pissed that a republican defected and voted against a shitty bill. I think you are projecting a bit here.

they're pissed because that same Republican ran saying he would repeal Obamacare and voted to repeal Obamacare and then when the opportunity came opposed repealing Obamacare.

It appears you don't feel like being honest

Responding to the OP-I just think at this point they move on and say "we tried but Dems would not budge" and let Obamacare blow up. Republicans can't really come back from this with their base, the damage is done, so now they should just move on to tax reform and immigration etc and hang it around the Dems neck. It's the least crappy of their many crappy options-and totally reaffirms everything we have always known about the more cowardly of our two political parties. If they whiff on the next agenda item up, they'll get absolutely slaughtered in 2018 and this whole Trump opportunity will have been for nothing.

It didn't repeal Obamacare. The Senate literally did not want that bill to pass. All he did was make sure it didn't.

I wish there was a democrat to thank for tanking Obamacare, but unfortunately most were bought off.

Now we are stuck with a massive shite sammich that has really fricked the middle class.

This is a good thing. The president is supposed to execute and enforce the law, it's scary as hell when they start writing it. It was the #1 reason I didn't want Hillary to win. She would set up a lobbyist hotel in the East Wing and start churning out pay for play legislation by the ream, then fax it all down to Capitol Hill for her lemmings to shove through.

Thank god we don't have an authoritarian like her or Obama in the WH.

Yes indeed. They think "someone else" will be paying. The will soon find out they ARE "someone else"... and the democrats have lied to them just as bad as the republicans did.

I mean... do you ever hear democrats saying they'd have to tax every dollar of income down to the $50k/yr level to pay for "single payer"?

Good think healthcare will be free. No one will be able to afford it.

I was referring to that.

Obviously, this particular bill didn't repeal but the pieces of shite who previously supported repeal(fraudulently) then switched deserve the hatred they get
