In 2016, democrats who consider themselves “progressives” became the largest cohort within the democrat party. This influence is what has driven democrats to the far left. They’re basically trying to keep the Bernie Bros onboard.

A Trump win and holding the Senate will drive progressives further left...likely to the point that they will break away.

Dems have far too many conflicting interests under their umbrella, and the ONLY thing the democrats sell them is “straight white man bad”.

Blacks are generally socially conservative, Hispanics are for sure socially conservative, and Muslims are extremely socially conservative. Now that the “bad white man” message is starting to fail, they will have nothing to tether many within these groups to the democrat vote.

Republicans need to seize this opportunity to bring in some of these folks by pointing out their failed relationships with democrats. Social media is dissolving the democrats’ ability to be the only political messaging these groups receive. This should be the Republican battleground.

If Republicans can force this chasm, the far left socialist faction will have little chance of gaining any true power for the foreseeable future.

Generally agree. A Trump victory would drive the Democrats further left and Republicans would control the middle for the foreseeable future.

No they don't. Have you ever talked to people under 30? They're brain dead & cannot think for themselves. Their minds won't mature.

I'm trying to think of ways to protect my finances now for the inevitable plundering of wealth. These young people are going to be the downfall.

They do.
I’ve been saying this for some time now.
Their tent has gotten so large in terms of trying to accommodate every freak, that there are too many battling factions to stay together.

Tldr;

You don't look at a lot of political polls do you smart guy? Oh, that's right. Your entire worldview is built around completely ignoring reality at all costs.

Not Biden, but BERNIE SANDERS won super majorities of voters under 45 in basically every state, across ever demographic group. Whites, blacks, hispanics. Young people don't want to live the rest of their life in a failed state run by total crooks and reality TV stars and Evangelical freaks.

I would think Joe is destroying it, I mean he is a segregationist.

Nothing like trying to get non-whites to vote for a clear bigot.

He then said: "Unless we do something about this, my children are going to grow up in a jungle, the jungle being a racial jungle with tensions having built so high that it is going to explode at some point. We have got to make some move on this."

He didn't want lil Hunter on a bus with black kids.

.

I have said this time and time again. Identity politics will kill the Democrat party.

You cannot please every fringe faction; especially so when a lot of them have very different ideologies. The only thing they have in common is that their group is a minority.

When one is satisfied, 2 are pissed off.

This is just stupid.

The majority of black people already don't identify as liberal and the majority of black people already live in suburban/rural areas, yet they still vote blue 90% of the time. What else could the Republican Party possibly do to change that dynamic, especially in the short-term?

Muslims are a tiny fraction of the population. You make a better point about Hispanics, so I guess a less divisive Republican could theoretically make some gains there.

The socialist stuff is extremely overblown. You don't live in the Midwest, and it shows. Moderates in the Midwest don't buy that shite. Sure, they're not fans of AOC, but they don't actually think your run-of-the-mill establishment Dem is a trojan horse for socialist policies. However, they do buy the idea that the Democratic Party is starting to abandon the working class as a whole. Regardless, some rust belt swing states could theoretically trend red, but it would just be offset because states like Texas and Georgia are trending blue.

When reelected, arrest need to be made for everyone inciting an insurrection.

Roll up the food chain on anyone receiving money from a foreign power and their assigns.

Destroy their network command and control.

Prison reform and release for all non violent offenders to make room for all the anarchists.

He obviously has a world view constructed by the 8-10 blocks in media studios and also doesn’t understand generational change. Those young people won’t be young in 10 years, most of them will get life’s wake up call and have to vote via responsibility. The generation behind them will likely be the most conservative in decades. This guy might as well be a BOT, he’s just as ignorant.

Generally agree. HOWEVER, remember that Republicans were in the same place in 2012 with a divided party and no rockstar candidates that would pull from left/center left/minority groups. We had no fight. Until Trump. One candidate like Trump or, sadly Obama, is all it takes to inspire people.

It depends on who takes Trump place.

Who will be the leader of the party?
Ted Cruz? Boring
Mike Pence? Boring
Jim Jordan? To short

It will take someone that excites the base like Trump does. If they are boring it will be hard to expand the base. Over next 25 years most of the boomers will be gone.

Or if someone like AOC starts to lead the Dems. If that happens people will leave

Democrats don’t have a true leader and it has hurt them over the last 3 1/2 years.

Not so sure...

The Z generation already appears to be much more conservative than Millennials.
