Mind you, all the headlines say Republicans block capping the price of insulin to $35 but from what I could tell it only affects copays/out of pocket expenses for people that have private health insurance.

I personally think Republicans are fools on this and will get dragged for it.

How many billions aren’t being capped to the money laundering front in Ukraine in that same bill.

Just allocate the $87 billion earmarked for IRS and call it good?

Nothing. It was an add-on to the health section of reconciliation bill

Voting yes on the insulin caps only affected insulin caps and did not allocate more funds to Ukraine. The Republicans kept the part that applied caps to insulin prices in Medicare but other than that it was fairly straight-forward.

Government shouldn’t even be wasting a second of taxpayer resources on this issue.

Were government-funded sex changes operations or some other gift to the circus freaks included in the bill?

No. It was an independent part of the climate, health, and tax reconciliation bill

Good. That bill has one good thing in it and a bunch of useless junk in it. I guarantee if you tried to pass a stand alone $35 insulin bill it would pass easily with bipartisan support.

You haven’t commented on the dems policies that have caused increased inflation, energy, food costs, etc. How come?

Exactly, most of the time these bills have poison pills in them that are nothing but negative for Republicans.

This is not about helping people, this is about creating propaganda to make your opponents look bad.

Trump already had insulin prices at all time lows. Biden reversed it. Let the fat obese slobs with diabetes and other health problems die off. They are a drain on our health care system anyway. Good riddance.

you can't take a bill that is likely 300+ pages long and cherry pick one obviously good aspect from it
