There'll be more Democracy Files drops today - but as it happens, today is launch day for my book UNELECTED. It is a coincidence that I stumbled into an archive of these ex-USAID officials less than a week before the book's release. The UNELECTED is about how and why a massive global network of NGOs came to dominate our everyday American policies.
And crucially, UNELECTED ends in a whitepill that shows us the way out of this mess.
UNELECTED is a joint collaboration between @JoshuaLisec and myself. I started this effort because my own doxxing happened during the Tesla Takedown protests, while I was in the process of being recruited by DOGE. DOGE employees were having their life made miserable, and I had to take my own children and flee out of state.
While researching who organized and financed the protests, I noticed all the backers were all about democracy. Democratic resilence, strengthening democracy, protecting democracy. I was like ... "wait, why are democracy groups behind this?" DOGE was cutting silly DEI foreign aid awards, it wasn't overturning any elections.
What I came to find was shocking - these silly USAID awards added up to a global regime change machine. "Democracy" has nothing to do with elections. "Democracy," to them, means diffused governance outside of the three branches of our Constitutional Republic via private citizens in the form of NGOs. The network started assembling over a hundred years ago with the founding of Carnegie Endowment for International Peace, and has snowballed into a machinery worth trillions of dollars that has sucked taxpayer money, philanthropic money, union dues.
That became UNELECTED.

Governor Spanberger, AG Jay Jones, and NSL4A network are pre-positioning Virginia to delegitimize the federal government and hand authority to the state
@DataRepublican lays out the blueprint: NSL4A (ex-military and intel officials) is operationalizing the United Democracy Alliance’s “red lines” for declaring the federal government illegitimate
Governors don’t have to sign anything. They just refuse cooperation, let the NGO apparatus do the street work, and transfer legitimacy to Democratic state officials

Graphic with Endorsements: NSL4A “National Security Leaders for America” is credited with running the “United Democracy Alliance" -- engaging in the "blocking" movement of protests, lawsuits, and non-cooperation
The ex-military and Intel operatives endorsed the VA Democratic congressional slate, running against @VA_GOP incumbents:
Tom Perriello (VA-5), who ran Soros’ Open Society and gave millions to Indivisible, sat on their Board, remains involved with them to this day
Elaine Luria (VA-2), former rep, defeated after J6 Committee work
Shannon Taylor (VA-1), soft-on-crime prosecutor who received Soros family money

Virginia Democrats are engaging in pure preemptive resistance with no specific unlawful federal action identified. It's a classic red-line setup.

I just don’t understand the purpose and intent of the Democratic party.
Is this what they want?
A country that has open borders, abortions anytime, no guns, unlimited drugs, free healthcare, high taxation, free handouts for all, a socialist/communist government, rigged elections, less military, more Islam, more transgenders.. more gay rights,. seriously wtf?
there’s no way that a major majority of our population feels this way.. surely is just a big psyop by Soros and Gates and the crew.
How did they end up so far left and away from the middle? What the frick is wrong with these people? Do they want to become a Third World country?

Here's part 3. Just now seeing it so I haven't listened yet.
This one was pretty wild. You have an outside panel of foreign "experts" on color revolutions advising these people in their endeavors. I think the one that stuck out most to me was the "constitutional lawyer" from Ecuador (I believe it was) who was explaining how people were calling him a fool for thinking the courts would side with him, but he explained that even though he shouldn't win on the merits, the court and the judge would be persuaded by the mob they had propped up to riot.

To back up: the main group that Danielle Reiff and the other ex-USAID workers belongs to, Renew To Thrive (R2T) / Renew American Democracy (RAD) have an explicit strategy document. That strategy outlines "preparing for the worst" which includes the Insurrection Act or "election meltdown," and their goal is to get "structural reform" in place by that - a polite way of saying our Constitutional Republic has to be overhauled.
In July 2026, R2T/RAD invited foreign state actors to share experience with the American community, for the express purpose of operationalizing their expertise right here in the United States. All actors had experience in international community assisted transitions (I'll let you figure out what that is a code word for).
The disturbing part, though, is that all of the foreign actors' recommendations were implemented right here in America.
You may have seen news headlines like:
- Restore trust in processes
- Increased election security, increased legal presence at polls
- Democratic officials hold tabletop exercises
- Judges prepare for post-election challenges
To be clear, this video doesn't prove that this meeting specifically caused this cascade of escalations. But what it shows is that the democracy-promotion playbook the U.S. spent decades exporting, with situation rooms, observers at every polling place, prebunking and litigation paired with street mobilization, is now being run on America's own election. The same people are running it, and they're taking advice from the foreign actors the U.S. once backed.
Now when you look at officials talking about independent watchdogs or tabletop exercises... know that it's because they are now treating the United States midterms exactly the same as they'd treat elections in a third world country.
And I think more than a small part of them are hoping that it does become a self-fulfilling prophecy as it has in so many of those countries. (For context, my book Unelected documents that so-called "election meltdowns" are precursors)

I'm reposting this video so folks can hear it from their own mouths what these people mean when they keep repeating the word "democracy." They are explicitly and intentionally using that word in opposition to our current constitutional republic form of government. When listening to part 3 in the post above, you will hear them repeat this "democracy" thing a lot. This is them specifically calling for a dismantling of our constitution.
"our ultimate goal is a democratic constitution based on universal and equal suffrage with a unicameral legislature."

Yes, the people pulling the strings want exactly that. These people on these tapes are just the frickin sellouts who will help them achieve that in hopes of getting a piece of the pie when the dust settles.
