Meh, 12 may be too much but paying people who aren’t high school kids $8 an hour just makes people say they can make ends meet better with welfare before paying for daycare to work 2-3 minimum wage jobs.

Just a platform to get votes. No one thinks about ramifications of it. It’s destroying the hospitality business in those states that are doing it. Can’t afford to have the amount of staff on to keep up with people’s expectations of service and it’s hurting businesses. This is the main reason for kiosks in restaurants and fast food.

Literally have a friend who told me once "Well if you can't afford to pay your employees a good wage, then you shouldn't be in business in the first place"

More proof democrats don’t understand basic economics. All this does is inflate prices and hurt small business owners.

This was happening regardless of what people are paid. Computers are free. They still need people to hand you the food.
