I heard an interesting what if scenario regarding this topic last night on the radio. (Jim Bohannen show I think.) Some caller asked how would reparations would be handled in the case of the descendants of a freed slave who then joined the Buffalo Soldiers to fight against Native Americans.

I like what I heard on the radio the other day....

Dig up all of the known slaves, put a million dollar check in their hands, close the coffin and re bury them.

slavery was a bad time in our history. Its unthinkable how these people were treated and tortured.

News Flash. Slavery is over.

Second news flash. Slavery is NOT color dependent.

You can't say whitey owes blacks money.

If you happen to be a slave then hell yes you deserve a free ride for the rest your life. But notjust cause you black, sorry its doesn't work like that.

Here’s the thing though: we know the mindset of these politicians so if they don’t get what they want and think they deserve through legislation, they’ll just get it through the back door.
They will create a bureaucracy built on resentment toward their perceived opposition and pander to black people who believe they are entitled to reparations.

Consequently, The entitlement mindset just grows exponentially.

The desire to feed this mentality is only going to grow too. Politicians love stirring this pot. The media does too.
I’m afraid we’re heading for some reconcilliation either through legislation or in the streets

The issue of reparations is to be debated by the US house panel today. How much would it take to make things right?

That's a really complicated question.

Aside from the question of how much money the current generation of blacks and hispanics owe whites and asians for fifty years of affirmative action...

...there's the question of how much money Turks owe to the Armenians and Byzantines and how much money the Egyptians owe to the Israelis. Finally, there's the question of how much Homo Sapiens owes to Bigfoot. Those questions would likely have to be settled first, as they're longer standing claims.

Dems must be genuinely panicked about black turnout to be putting on a show about something we already decided 100 years ago we weren’t going to do.

I don't buy the party line that it was mostly unwarranted. On top of that, they didn't have to go to camps. They could have relocated outside of the evacuation zone ahead of internment.
