I say we should take a look at reparations. But, let's look at all the facts.

If reparations are to be given, I, as a white man, want a fully nonrefundable credit for the absurdly disproportionate amount of welfare, food stamps, and other benefits they've received since 1965, as well as a refundable credit for the value of the institutional racism they've have enacted in the form of affirmative action that they have benefited from.

When all the math is done, please let me know where I, as a white man, can go pick up my check.

But that is not reparations. The people that had slaves are gone and the slaves themselves are gone.

The United States government generally wasn't part of the slave trade or use of slaves, although there evidence there was some ships built which were constructed by slaves via contract in part.

No reparations are owed from the People, nor the entity the United States.

Am I exempt from contributing? All of my ancestors came to America after the 1880's.
