I don't know if you're right or wrong but if we are independent then why is the price of gas going up? If we are supplying more to us than we ever have we should see a decline in prices. Because we wouldn't be beholden to OPEC. Yet here we are......... explain?

The guy is an idiot. Oil producers are killing it right now off the backs of the American people.
NOT the "exports" he claims to be certain of.
So, yes...the oil companies are drilling when prices are up.
Water is wet. But if you ask Powerbottom he just reinvented the wheel. He doesn't even understand that energy independence means we drill to our demand. In the same breath he brags about exporting it, as well. He's a moron.
