If you don't know WTF you are talking about, it is best to shut up, do some research, and familiarize yourself with a subject before engaging.

FACTS:
Anthea Hartig held recurring staff meetings/discussions using the MASS Action Toolkit as a reference/resource in each of them. The toolkit was her roadmap to “transform the museum space” by confronting “white supremacy,” “hetero-patriarchy,” etc. She used it just as a preacher would use the Bible to prepare his Sunday sermon. Hartig's stated goal in those meetings was to shift the museums toward explicitly anti-racist/anti-oppressive practices.

Using the MASS Action Toolkit as a reference/resource was her choice. It is foundational to every move she's made running the museum. She knows it cover to cover.

Hartig is a critical theory zealot. She describes her vision of history as a “prime tool of social justice.” She's a vocal advocate for contrived, fictional reframing “traditional celebratory narratives of U.S. history.” That is why she stumbled all over herself answering Gill as to whether history is objective.

She personally oversaw changes to the museum’s mission statement shifting emphasis away from “American Greatness” framing and toward a “just and compassionate future.”

When Anthea Hartig, the Director of America’s National History Museum, was asked if she loves America a couple of years ago, she responded that “loving America is very complicated.” You could resurrect Nikita Khrushchev and Mao Tse Tung, and together they could hardly be worse or more anti-American than this woman.
