Someone that's making fun of you cause i caught you lying about your investments
According to my scenario it doesn't matter whether you moved out of equities in January 2018 or in January 2013, you're still gonna take a profit.
Therefore you question smells like a stupid troll.

Nice try
You couldn't answer. The link is there for all to see
Moreover, you realized i would continue to probe your lie so you bailed
Wisely, but embarrassingly.
ROFLMAO

I guess he doesn't realize you can tell when somebody is online in here

I don't like seeing the market go down anymore than the next guy. But i'm still up big, heck i'm still above what I reinvested in dividends on 12/18/17 and put my Christmas bonus in on 12/26.
That is on top of a 32% individual return last year.
I have 30 more years in the market tho, so I will be buying the dip with confidence on this one.

Agreed, but your blind as shite if you think this isn’t something to watch and worry about.
Being way above 20k leaves room to not freak out.
We will keep our fingers crossed.

Hey, ShortyRob, what's your predicted bottom for the DJIA in the next 5-6 months?
I've stated my opinion of 13,000. What's yours?
Again, please bookmark for future ridicule or future tears.

Of course it is.
I'm not going to be surprised if it goes down more.
I don't take the stock market lightly. I have a plan for times like this and I will execute my plan and do the best I can to keep emotion out of it
I would do that if it was Obama in office and I'm going to do that with Trump in the office
Idiots like Austin on the other hand LOL

It's funny to me that you don't understand that this post itself sets you up for ridicule. It indicates you don't know anything about the market.
But of course I already proved that because you couldn't even tell me when you entered into the positions you liquidated in January of 18.

Since often insist on letting me humiliate him on this board I have another question
He claims to have called the top perfect and exited his positions in January of this year.
Since unlike the other thing he is just guessing at that's a very specific factual claim
I asked him when he entered those positions and he couldn't tell me.
Since I figured that eventually he's going to concoct a claim for when he entered them I have a follow-up
Name one or two of the positions. The day entered and the cost basis
These are questions that any half-assed investor would have at the tip of their fingertips and be able to answer in the time it takes to pull up the software.
I'll hang up and listen LOL

Let this serve as a lesson to you Austin
Never pretend to be smart on a subject you know nothing about in a room that has several people that are smart on the subject
This board has people with substantial investing experience both liberal and conservative.
So all you have done is made a fool out of yourself in front of both.

13,000? Do you know why the market is down right now?
Posted on 2/6/18 at 7:28 am to 90proofprofessional
I specifically stated in OP that i wanted thus to be a tracking thread about GDP & GDP projections over the quarter and you dumbasses couldn't wait to turn it into a hackfest/personal attackfest.
Y'all suck

Are dems really trying to make hay with this dip?
If so, wow.

While we're on the subject of personal attacks I am disgusted by OPs shameless framing for upvotes. Throwing in the laffo GDPnow forecast smh
