That arithmetic has the effect of exponentially blowing out of proportion the difference in relative population. The only intent is to manipulate.
You still going on about this? There were about 10-20 graphics and tables that followed that one, citing reputable sources, that all support similar trends with no manipulation.

Wait a second. We are to believe that police routinely and systematically abuse blacks because they are black (despite that the number of blacks being harmed by cops is proportional to the crime committed by blacks), but when we are presented with data that shows that blacks disproportionately target whites, we are to believe that the race of the victim has nothing to do with the crime?
This is the kind of one-sided thinking that plagues this discussion and turns truth into anathema.

But yes, here we are 13 pages in and still only 2 posters have even come remotely close to accepting the obvious truth about how manipulative the very first and by far most prominent graphic in the OP is. I don't get why it's too much to ask that we use actual data (which clearly shows the trends you mention!) rather than blatantly manipulated data.
