I don't disagree, but I also don't think the numbers are remotely close to equal. Various Trump voters claim it all the time; there are so many Trump only people that DeSantis can't win a general.

Really hard to be influenced by networks I don’t watch. I just talk to people and listen to various podcasts, read various independent journalists, and then form my own opinion based on what I’ve seen and heard. Trump loses a general election, imo. He’s not popular with younger conservatives with college degrees or independents. He’s also not going to pull ANY democrats. I just don’t see the path based on the current climate. People outside of baby boomer generation are sick and tired of the country being run by politicians who wouldn’t be qualified for any private sector job because of their age.

Stopped reading here. If you think supporting one single politician and voting for absolutely no one else “makes sense,” then you aren’t a serious person and nothing else you say matters.
