Hell no.
I've read there are some high rent properties where people are doing the same.
Just don't pay and the landlord can't do shite.

No, you wouldn’t. Everyone is tough behind a computer keyboard. That landlord who took it in the shorts, drove home, ate dinner, booted up his computer, and began bragging online about what he would do in some OP’s situation.

So I have heard.
Some years back, a bad storm hit the area and tore off a bunch of roofs. A landlord got a line on roofers and had them repair a number of his properties.
One of the properties that didn’t get repaired quickly was a renter who was months behind and due for an eviction. Bitch judge got one look at pictures of blue tarps and dismissed the case.
