A large majority of the population does not have the intellectual capacity to be objective enough to not be hypocritical.

This is what happens when someone who was never a taxpayer suddenly becomes a taxpayer. The only solution is to make everyone a taxpayer. Even if it is $1. No one should profit from their relationship with government. Voting your wallet is alot different when you are a giver and not a taker.

I have even suggested we tax all welfare payments of any kind - then INCREASE the payments by an amount to offset the TAXES.
