Was reading a Wikipedia article and came across this blurb

In the 1920s and 30s, media and Hollywood was actually fairly right wing


Believe it or not...so were the universities until the 50s and 60s

It was Watergate and the general SJW culture that changed everything.

Woodstein got the journalism schools overflowing with young crusaders who'd found their religion.

Add to that the Affirmative Action instituted to get women and blacks in corridors of power whether they'd earned the right to be there or not, and you have the situation we're in today.

COMINTERN was just starting to find its legs and voice in the 1930s - they focused on France, Britain and Scandinavia first and didn't really get to the U.S. until after the war.
