I’m not sure what point Paul was trying to make there. Prior infection with the flu is great protection against another case of the flu. However, prior infection of Covid is not going to prevent another case of Covid. It’s happened hundreds of thousands (maybe millions) of times.

it's been proven that having covid does give you an increased level of protection from re-infection from covid. how long is debatable but both protection and for how long are also debatable for the vaccination.
