Rand is an idealogue which is fine on a personal level, but unproductive in politics. He’s useless.

but unproductive in politics
"Unproductive in politics" means he votes "no" on bills that increase spending or increase the size and scope of the government.

Hes a senator, not President. We need more ideologues in Congress, not less.
If we had more, the inflation and debt wouldnt be an issue.

You may be correct. But, we’re not going to get more ( or enough) . We have to deal with the reality. To throw wrenches in thr works is counter productive.

The reality is Senators are elected by their states for reasons that are not the same as the President.
They are beholden to their constituents, not you and I who live in other States.

I have always liked him.
I don't anymore.
He is right on a lot.
He proved himself to be bought and paid for by special interest this year.

Just think of all of the stuff we wouldn’t know if Rand weren’t in the Senate.
Glad he’s there.
Glad he’s there.

There are know-nothing posters on this forum who appear to genuinely believe that Rand Paul is a RINO who regularly votes with Democrats.
They are right for the wrong reasons: unlike many Republicans, Paul consistently votes in favor of the principles of limited government.
By any objective measure, Rand Paul has one of the most conservative voting records of any Senator in Washington D.C.
