But his message is truthful, and not designed to deceive. Sounds fed up to me.

If you can't get formula at the store then you have no choice but to make your own with a recipe that worked in the past.

Hopefully you find something that didn't last work 30 years ago.

Whatever did the human race do before baby formula?

What a low IQ take

That’s not really the point. You don’t have a problem with mothers struggling to feed babies in the United States? That isn’t unacceptable to you? It’s either intentional or incompetence.

I've no doubt "Joe" fricked things up, but I confess to being surprised that baby formula is a big issue. I've no children, and obviously know less about them than I realized. But it's not exactly a diabetic being deprived of insulin, right?

I know of baby food, Gerber etc. But never knew the term "baby formula" until this past month. Is this something that developed the past 20 years for parents on the go?

I find it interesting that people think the ones doing this are incompetent. They know exactly what they are doing and are working it exactly the way they want. What’s remarkable, is we letting them with absolutely no push back.

And had lower IQ and a lot more musculoskeletal issues from malnutrition.

But y'all go ahead and advocate that mothers with problems feeding their babies naturally feed them Karo and evaporated milk.

There is no way it will have all the necessary nutrients a baby needs.

When your baby is starving is this even a concern? If your baby can tolerate homemade formula shouldn’t you use it (Hopefully short term)?

Of course it's a concern. Eating enough to survive is much different than thriving. Not very many parents are going to be content with just surviving.

Then they are stupid, not thriving is a better alternative than dying don’t you think? Hopefully the people in charge can get their act together and this would only be a short term solution.

I don't think you're really putting yourself in their situation. Do you think it can be possible to be doing what you can to feed your child, while still be concerned they aren't getting the correct and curated nutrition?

Seriously, you cant friggin take a simple recipe and make it, is it that hard.

Being sustained isn't the same thing as thriving. Any "simple recipe" will be on the sustaining end of the nutritional spectrum.

Malnourishment leads to stunted mental development, your child will essentially lose IQ points. They'll make it out of infancy, sure, but not healthily.

Of course, what I’m saying is living has a higher priority than thriving. In a situation where formula is not available wouldn’t you find an alternative? Again, hopefully it’s only short term.
