Question For the African American Posters Here

On another board I post at, I was told by a dude who’s pretty moderate that he thinks Trump’s reaction to this whole George Floyd situation will energize African Americans across the country to go out and vote AGAINST Trump. For Biden, Clinton, or whatever candidate ends up being on the ticket.
My question is...how do you feel about Trump’s response? Has it strengthened your faith in him or weakened it? What have you noticed in your community? Are people suddenly enraged at Trump? Or do you still notice support? What exactly are you seeing?
Personally, I don’t know what others can accuse him of doing wrong here but I want to hear what others think.
I’m not sure how anyone in their right mind could think that Biden would serve the population better than Trump...

There's three I know of on here, and they're more conservative than most of us

I say this as a white male. I just don’t understand how people criticize Trump’s response to the murder of Floyd. If you want to criticize his response to Covid there are things that are legitimate. As far as the Floyd murder he has said justice has to be served, he is horrified and the country all is united in this fact.
Maybe he can announce a commission or committee to study what improvements or changes can go to the police nationwide. The blame for the rioting and looting is strictly on the governor and mayors in these cities that are and have been run by democrats. Also these cities just happen to be the ones that have been hit the worst by Covid. Hat is not a coincidence.

Not sure why I'm getting downvoted as this is a serious, legitimate question.
I want to know if there's something I'm missing or unable to see.
How can you vote for Biden when Trump has done more for African Americans?
And it's really sad when I see people questioned why they're voting for Biden and the response is, "He was Obama's VP."
Groupthink at its finest.

Don’t get fooled thinking most AA are like the few conservatives posters on here. They are few, far and in between.

You're still a greenhorn, you'll learn the ropes

Seriously you can call us black - unless the individual was actually born in Africa - we're all Americans

I voted for him in 2016 and will vote for him in 2020

I appreciate your response and honesty.
Yeah, I completely agree with you about the states and local governments. Virtually none of this shite happened in conservative districts.
In fact, I can't think of any red area that had "protestors" out "bringing awareness" to such "important issues" like "Trump being a racist and somehow this is all his fault."
All this just seems too convenient in an election year.

Nobody is energized by senile Joe. Most people know Trumps words are hollow and his concerns are mainly photo-ops for re-election.
He is an ineffective communicator and weak leader. He has no ideology or original thoughts so most people know whomever has his ear at the current time is really in control of the country.
He should have stood up and called for police reform. He should stated that its not okay for any government employee to violate any citizens rights under any circumstance.
He should have expressed his outrage over the state of policing in the "land of the free " where cops can violate rights on a whim with impunity.
Instead he emboldened police to double down on their violation of citizens rights.
Most blacks will probably sit this one out just like 2016.

Only if the DNC double the Popeye's coupons and cartoons of Kools.

I’m pretty sure he did that first suggestion.
As for the second, you know blacks were also harmed and killed in the riots, right? One can be for more police accountability and still think they should be used to stop violence against private property and violence against fellow citizens.

White male mariied to black woman with a 23 year old daughter. The wife and myself aren't falling for the latest attempt by the Prog/Dim leftists to divide Americans on selective faux outrage....the daughter has been somewhat infected with the DimMedia Floyd propaganda. I sent the daughter some links to Larry Elder and Candace Owens vids, we'll see if it helps her understand the full context of the George Floyd tragedy.

Blacks don't say shite when they're constantly shooting each other in the street but then scream black lives matter when another race shoots and kills them.
That's why I can't take the BLM movement seriously, you can't just pick and choose when black lives matter.

Another example of liberal local governments yet somehow still Trump's fault.

There are hundreds of black advocacy groups that help to stop violence in the black community. Just because you were not invited to the negro meetings don't mean they don't happen.
I've been apart of a group for almost 10 years now.
Black people generally don't discuss issues within the black community in the open its usually done within community. Just because they don't get the same media coverage the BLM gets doesn't mean they are not putting in work.

So you've done nothing to fix the issue.
Got it.
