You all completely miss the point. You should be thinking about other people's kids the entire time you watch these movies if it's a problem. You're soft because you only think about this shite when it happens to you.
Say there’s a ferocious blizzard or hurricane on the way. Do you worry over it the same way whether you have a loved one in its path or not?
You see a massive car wreck and know that the driver was likely killed. Do you feel the same way whether your son/daughter was the driver or not?
It doesn’t make you a better or worse person if some observed horror does not hit you the same way when a loved one is not it’s victim.
Pretending it does looks like a rush for moral high ground.

The Army first tried to group Cyber into Maneuver, Fires and Effects (formerly known as "Combat Arms") but now it has its own separate career field - Information Dominance.

Sure...right....so if you watched your mother die a slow and painful death from breast cancer, you're going to react the same way to watching a movie about someone dying a slow death from cancer as someone who has never seen someone die of cancer? Get real. Things affect people differently based on their life experiences. You're clueless if you think otherwise. I watched Saving Private Ryan and We Were Soldiers before my son was in the military and it still tore me up horribly and I wished I hadn't watched them. But since he enlisted, I absolutely avoid them at all costs.
Similarly, most Americans have their heads up their a$$ and have no idea what's happening in Afghanistan or Iraq---if their kid was there, like mine, they would be paying very close attention.

took your own personal experience to truly understand how terrible war is? Yikes.
I know you are too much of a pussy to run your shite filled cock sucker face to face but in the event you do i hope you get what you deserve.

After reading this thread... Just want to take a sec and say thanks to all the parents of vets and vets for their service.

And sadly... recognize LSUConvert for being a complete arsehole. Seriously, WTF is wrong with you?
