You will never get a true lefty on here to specifically list the Democratic Party platform or mid term strategy. Your thinking in threads of this type would be to get them to list the policies and then have to defend them. They don’t want to defend the open borders, anti-ice, anti-police, etc. That’s why they always deflect, ask about Republicans about their policies, and defend Massie and Rand Paul as icons.

They have been propagandized by anti-American progressivism and are lost. We will have to handle business with their side one day or kiss it all good bye.

You say "you" like people on this board are running for office. I'm not, But as this is a *SAFE SPACE* and I am functionally a Democrat these days, I can answer. I would have the following platform if I couldn't say Trump's name:
(1) Stemming corruption. A vow not to tolerate it when I see it, and support for measures to make Congress, the President and the rest of the executive branch, and the Supreme Court subject to enforceable rules governing bribery, trading, betting, etc.
(2) Foreign Policy: No wars without provocation or actual need to pre-empt an attack. A foreign policy where we advance our own interest, but are open to cooperation. I would re-engage with NATO.
(3) A common-sense immigration policy. We have to not be afraid to speak the truths about immigration that are sometimes in tension with one another, and come up with a plan that balances interests and makes sense.
(4) Energy policy: Making sure energy is abundant and cheap, while continuing research for alternative sources of energy that might be more abundant and cheap while less polluting.
(5) Fiscal management. The federal budget is out of control, and we need to sensibly try to get it back under control. I don't think we can avoid looking at defense and entitlement expenditures.
(6) Somehow (not sure how) addressing the K-shaped economy that will ultimately lead to political instability.
(7) Somehow (not sure how) attempting to improve a health care system that no one understands and manages to produce cost increases of 10-15% per year.
