We have so so so so much more to worry about in this country than Russia.

We’re the equivalent of crops arguing about the soil in a different field and sending some of our precious needed good soil to that field while we whither away ignoring the salt being driven into our own soil everyday.

For some reason, I just pictured George Bush, Hillary and Biden all smiling with delight.

Where is it NOT known and published. Under $74/Bbl, China is getting a $35 per Bbl discount as well. Russian crude has, at least for now, replaced Middle Eastern crude for India.

The only way for Russia to sell kinda sorta to the world market is ship to a blending terminal where the crude is blended with other crude and loses identity, then loaded on ANOTHER ship. All of this costs real money. Iranian smugglers who are buying blackmarket crude at Iranian terminals do this all the time, but in very small tankers

Freight rates from Russian ports are way the frick up. Ship insurance rates too IF you can find a shipowner. Heck, Russia's major ship owner is having to sell off due lack of cash flow

Thanks Alpine and Diat, two major factors the msm avoids speaking about.

Regarding our lng exports.

FERC has basically stalled most pipelines, and lng plant projects, even ones that were approved are being stalled.
As a result, we are maxed out on export capacity.

Our new production is not keeping pace with the export/domestic demand and we are seeing our gas storage capacity depleted (which means we are "importing" the high gas prices from Europe). The reason our production is not keeping pace, once again FERC and this administrations hatred for the industry.

It takes a minimum of three years to build an lng import facility. Trump begged Europe to build more and they refused, so even if we could export more, it would not matter, we have tankers lined up like sailors at a whorehouse over there now waiting to be offloaded.

Lastly, I love these European countries saying they will just get energy from somewhere else other than Russia....then why havent they? Because you can move the deck chairs around the Titanic all you want, but at the end of the day, the ship is still sinking, and there is only so much production capacity in the world and if the US cant help, OPEC and Russia wont, well you are one hurtin puppy.

Go back and read Diat's post. Their Rubles are worth over 30% more versus a USD, they would be foolish not to look to exchange them.

Your argument might be better served asking why US citizens are buying gold and crypto currency?

This only applies if you are on the SWIFT banking system, since Russia is blocked, and is dealing in rubles, this is a non factor.

You seem business savvy
