This is a big issue, and why I can't just back this movement. I do believe in police reform, but as a mixed-race person that looks white until I get a tan, this is a problem. This reeks of a blatant attempt to start a race war on US soil, and they are not stopping until it occurs. Once we have enough and retaliate, it will be blamed on us for protecting our communities, and families.

This needs to stop now.

There's no way any sensible reform can come as long as this is going on. Everyone is just too busy trying to "put out fires".

Unless others haven’t been paying attention, many people were raising concerns when local police depts were acquiring equipment used in Iraq & Afghanistan during the Obama presidency. Many were so busy chanting back the blue that they didn’t realize this was about to be used against American citizens.

If anyone born before 1980 doesn’t see the transformation of protect and serve policing to militant law enforcement they’re either blind or intentionally obtuse.
