Protesters storm MI Capital, legislature in bullet-proof vests denies Half-Whitmer

In Michigan, guns are permitted inside the state's Capitol as long as they are visible and carried with lawful intent.
Protesters, who weren't wearing masks, were seen yelling within inches of officers from the Michigan State Police.
Others were heard chanting: 'Let us in! Let us in!'

There appears to be a conflict in the law of the state of Michigan, where 1 law says that the governor requires legislative consent to extend emergency declarations and another says they don't. At least one state Rep (GOP) has said the law is on Whitmer's side, but other Reps are demanding a challenge to hash it out.
