It's common knowledge that the Democrat Party is fractured into several different pieces. I do believe identity politics are a problem with the Democratic Party and so do you. Knowing that then you must realize that the premise of the op starts fitting less and less.
The make America great again movement is completely unified even wears hats to signify. Everything Donald Trump says is okay. Even had religious people out there saying he was a gift from God. He literally lies almost every single day and his supporters will fervently defend it as the truth.
