Based on what I’ve seen at Trump rallies, I'm not sure if you guys want to throw stones in this particular glass house

Absolutely not. Some of the Trump people definitely exhibit that behavior. However unlike progressivism, this isn't some orchestrated orthodoxy.

The extreme left is as reprehensible as the extreme right. The difference is that ANTIFA is farther from a centrist Democrat than ted Nugent from a centrist Republican. Our president and the most popular Republican among Republicans since Reagan came to prominence by promoting the idea that Obama wasn’t a US Citizen and therefore not legitimate. That is some radical shite but it is and was at the time the center of the GOP.

If you wouldn't use such childish references, maybe.

But the Trump devotees are not really much different than Progs.

There's a pretty big difference between the two.

3 to 5 years ago I was living in district represented by co-
Chair of house progressives.

I don't see much diff lib/prog

I suspect the nuance is known only to q and TD.

Share examples of this great chasm.

Then you should be able to point to issues where solutions offered differ.

Josh and Roger??

I'm leaving house soon to go chant and meditate on the one as godlove. I can review your ideas in pm.

War
Israel Iran
Education and training
Medicare
Infrastructure

Try those. Distinguish lib from progressive

I believe any reference to Trump supporters and how they may be the counterpoint to progressives is a bit disingenuous.

The difference between the hard left and the hard right and how they impact the two main political parties in this nation is evident as the difference in night and day.

Hard left progressives have made massive inroads into the democratic party. They hold political office. they are endorsed by the DNC, and they are slowing becoming the face of the party. The old democratic dinosaurs are going the way of the dinosaur. Progressives own this party.

The hard right has yet to make the same gains in the GOP. They are generally diminished by the party and made to feel unwelcomed.

I know this is a bit off subject but when I see the comparisons used as if a point were being made by it, I think some perspective is required.

Neoliberal or classical liberal?

I’d only like to have to do this once.

I totally agree.
The problem with progressivism is that it has pervaded the entire Democrat party. The behavior is organized.
