What's the crime? Maybe lose the priest job for a few violations of the job description and workplace infractions, but ole boy was just banging a couple whores and recording for posterity (i.e. future fap material).

Eastern Orthodox don't believe in transubstantiation.

Eastern Orthodox believe that the Eucharist is the literal body of Christ, same as Catholics. Transubstantiation is merely the term coined by Thomas Aquinas to explain how the bread can look like bread yet still be the body of our Lord.

Hopefully they followed up with some Clorox wipes

I think this is one of those situations that is so fricked up the cops just said, "We're arresting these mofos and we'll figure out the crime later on."

But I don't think there is a crime here (except crimes against good taste and common decency) and I think all three will walk.

Is this what happens when the churches are not allowed to open for months?

By the way, the entire verse should be used
quote:

Jesus

"Jesus wept." Shortest verse in the Bible.

I don't think they were distancing. That's the problem.

At least it was with consenting adult women instead of little boys. Baby steps.

If you think priests only go after altar boys - you are sadly mistaken and need to wake up

Sex between two consenting adults is never a crime nor is it a newspaper article - but since you don’t know about it doesn’t mean it doesn’t happen

Lewd acts in public? Again, the Church isn't really a "private" place. Their doors are always open to worshippers. When they're inside a place of worship with the lights on, anyone can walk in off the streets.

The priest may end up on the sex offender registry after this, Imo.

Imo the original sacrament was a cocktail of hallucinogenics that allowed people to "commune" with God.

It all goes wrong when you start giving people crackers and grape juice and calling it the flesh and blood of Christ. All that ritualistic crap the Catholics get up to is pure silliness, imo.

These same psychedelics were in use by every religious movement back in the day. Christianity, like the rest of them, has in its roots shamanistic practices. These same psychedelics we are only discovering recently have dramatic mental health benefits. Things like curing depression and severe alcoholism.

We have literally allowed the establishment to sever our connection with the "spirit world."

Off topic, but thought I'd throw it in anyways since folks are talking communion and sacrament.
