If we really wanted to get rid of cartels we'd legalize drugs and quit buying their product at a 98% profit margin.
Also real terrorists (Saudis) hit us again today but Trump said Saudi Royal Family was sad too so guess it's ok.

For those who think Trump is pussying out, there's more to declaring "Mexican terrorist organizations" than meets the eye. It has legal ramifications that Mexico wants no part of. I can't recall what they are, but it gives Trumps leverage. That's why El Presidente is asking his Master Trump to hold off.

Officially declaring the cartels terrorists has far reaching consequences. It will crush Mexico economically. I don’t expect Trump to actually make an official declaration but I do expect the our armed forces to do the job the Mexican government is incapable of doing and decimate these cartels.
