This is a spending bill. It has nothing to do with the unconstitutional DACA EO.

Are you serious? This was always the line the dems were ready and willing to draw in the sand. Trump didn't provide any impetus for the dems to carry out their threatened foolishness.

That's just utter nonsense.
In an effort to avoid a government shutdown Donald Trump met with schumer and Pelosi to see if a compromise could be reached.
Surprise surprise the dems wanted their every demand met right now and in return they would give Trump what he wanted down the road.
It was the same democratic party ploy Tip O'Neil used on Ronald Reagan in their fight over immigration and one of the main reasons we have the problem we have today.
Trump wasn't going to be fooled and schumer and Pelosi were forced to slither away.
This shutdown is squarely on the dems and no one else.
