HW & W spent a couple of Trillion in a desert we don’t own and can really never visit, and BHO just gave away another 5T with nothing to show for it, so why not print a few T and buy it. The villages I saw look like a nice place for a B&B.

Actually, the number of immigrants living in Iceland has increased by 68% since 2015. Illegals have a pretty tough time getting there, no border to walk across and the sea trip is a bit rugged compared to washing ashore on Sicily or Greece. They are also taking in numbers of refugees.
