I'd leave off the B and the T - those two are certifiable mental illnesses - and all the others are just plain insane.
Homosexuality is within the accepted level of "different' as to not be discriminated against - but the rest of that shite is at best a joke

It’s a “pride celebration” because gays have historically been forced to hide in the shadows, while straight people have been able to live their lives normally. I’m so glad we don’t have to debate gay marriage anymore.

Makes complete sense. Not just from a financial standpoint but a mental health one as well. If they are going through hormone treatment then their balance will be out of whack. imbalance in hormones leads to depression(Aka "gender dysphoria:"), anxiety (fat redistribution, mood swings, appearance in public issues), irregular decision making, and many times regret as their body changes.
That is not to say they are a ticking timebomb during the transition, but just going through basic training is supposed to test your physical resolve as well as your mental. So it is the right thing to do. I think coverage for treatment and surgeries should be a community endeavor and I think the Trans community could benefit well by leaving the government out of their transition altogether.
