It will be beautiful if he mentions that Paxton proposes naming a highway after him once elected and that pushed him to an endorsement.

Trump getting the latest polls showing Paxton winning so that he can take credit for the victory. He should just stay out of it.

To be fair, Trump has endorsed a lot of people who weren't exactly front-runners at the time.
I'm not sure that Ron DeSantis would've been elected Governor of Florida the first time if Trump had not endorsed him.
DeSantis becoming Governor of Florida was YUUGE.
