That must include the prime minister of Japan (who nominated Trump) and doesn’t agree with your well reasoned appraisal of the situation and the leader of South Korea. Of course what do two leaders of countries in the area know compared to such a wise man as yourself.

I said it when Obama was nominated and eventually won and I'll continue to say it now.

The Nobel Peace Prize is a useless symbol of false achievement and fabricated recognition.

Right up there with the Oscars.

Right now there are 304 nominees for the peace prize.

Let Trump debate them all.

Now if the award was the Bafoon or idiot of the year that would be deserving for Comrad Trump.

No question, obama winning was a major troll job from Oslo. Even the most dedicated obama scrotum swingers know it was a joke.

However, the award has been tarnished many times with the likes of Yasser Arafat, a murderer, and terrorist winning and Al Gore, a complete loon, taking it as well.

If the benchmark for a Nobel Peace Prize has become “getting elected POTUS,” he certainly deserves one ... and Obama seems to have established that standard, since he did nothing else.

If the standard is something resembling “actual peace,” get back to me when NK has denuclearized or at least signed some sort of enforceable international agreement.

One can certainly argue that he has reduced tensions on the peninsula and in adjoining areas, but that is a low standard for a Peace Prize.
