In some ways, yes.
That's the thing. Trump understands those people. It's why they behave when he's in office and don't when he's not.
Do I want him to use the leverage that the United States has as the most powerful nation in the world to benefit America, even if it means bullying smaller, weaker countries with that leverage to get his way?
Absofrickinghellsupercalifragilistically YES!
As long as we aren't talking about invading or attacking a sovereign nation without just cause, one of the best things that he could do would be to teach the world that we are through acting subservient to weaker countries. It will help us not only with weaker countries, but also the stronger ones.
