What did all these people do before June, 2012? Why didn't Obama do something with congress between 2009 and 2011. If they couldn't build productive lives without his help. If they were in constant fear of being deported. Seems like it would have been easy for him to get a law passed then. Why didn't he do what Trump is now trying to do?

Why didn't they? They had control of both houses.

Obama has now criticized Trump more often and more viciously in 8 months than George HW Bush, Bill Clinton, and George W. Bush did to their successors in a combined 20 YEARS.
All 3 left office with their tail between their legs, and Trump is by far the worst President in history.

Again Toddy..

How come he didn't ask congress to pass a law? Why did he act like an all powerful emperor?

How can he sit there and bitch about an EO being overturned because he unilaterally signed an unconstitutional order when he couldn't get it through congress.

Oh interesting. So when he couldn't get a piece of legislation through congress, he took it into his own hands and did it through EO.

Sounds like something an emperor would do, doesn't it? So is it OK for a President to go around congress and unilaterally implement policy when he can't get support through congress?

I'll keep that in mind.

Better explanation, this is what a leader that violated the constitution at every turn looks like as his so called legacy is taken apart a brick at a time.

Read the constitution, the Executive branch does not make laws.

Potentially. But if our message is coming from BO, I think that will only lead further to heels being dug in and getting nowhere. That does little to help those who hang in the balance right now.

He can not be the leader of the party any longer, at least not publicly, in my opinion.

Big Big Big potential for Trump to get a win here with Immigration reform coupled with funding for the Wall.

He has had plenty of moments to get his wins. He has repeatedly and consistently tripped over his dick when given the opportunity. I don't see this being any different.

....and therein lies the problem....I don't fault Obama for ordering DACA. I get it....nor do I fault Trump for doing the right thing and telling Congress to fix the fricking problem.

Think of how all those educated mexicans will infuse greatness into the Mexican culture and economy. This is exciting news for Mexico and its citizens.

I don't disagree with the former pres, but I don't think it helps the situation if BHO is championing and challenging from the sidelines.

I find it a little unsettling that we democrats cant get someone to step forward to lead the party, thus we have BO filling the vacuum. We need to get our focus and stop relying on Obama, because that chapter is closed.

If we want to go forward, we need to look forward.

As a liberal who appears to have some sense, surely you agree that the way Obama did this was wrong and that he has no one to blame but himself now?

9 years later it's still Bush's fault.
