Democrats rely on the stupidity of their voters, who do not understand the difference between INCOME and WEALTH. Raising income taxes does not affect the wealth of those at the top, it only affects the wealth of those who are income dependent, i.e., the middle class. Basically his argument is that the system is unfair to the middle class, so if we make it more unfair we will eliminate the middle class altogether and then everyone will be equally poor, except those damn rich who somehow always seem to find a loophole.
