I was suspended for 4+ years for not deleting a thread that had an all caps title when another respected member also had an all caps title on the first page. That member was not banned nor was their title changed.

I didn't want to delete the thread...I should have edited it but that's the way the original OP titled the article and at that time I didn't know that the title could be edited.

The mods message about the all caps stayed on the top of the home page for a few days then I found I could not up/downvote or reply. I did ask to be reinstated a few times and finally gave up. Then one day as I was perusing the forum, I found that I was reinstated...no notice or recent request to lift the ban.

There are certain subjects that seem to touch a nerve with some mod. I wish we could get an exhaustive list like.. dont badmouth the Bush family, coca cola etc. or youll be banned. I had to fall in line but who knows when the next arbitrary line is crossed
