Your average lib most likely doesn't get the prank.

I feel like there should be a comma after “Illegals”.

I always put the comma in that situation, but a lot don't.

I was told both are right.

I think they technically are both correct, it's just a matter of personal preference. Unlike being a sanctuary state and sheltering Felons, Illegals, and MS13, which would be a violation of federal law.

Correct. There is no rule in place.

I never use a comma before the conjunction but those who do aren't wrong.

The sign in the OP is great.

I just looked it up. They are both correct. It called an Oxford comma when you use it before “and”. You can use any style correctly however just make sure you stick to the same style throughout your entire document.

Also known as a serial comma.

This is the problem with the country. Too much, "You can do whatever you want."

I miss the days of unflinchingly rigid grammar standards.

You may want to reconsider. Lack of the comma cost a Maine dairy company millions last year. It’s easy, cost nothing, and clarifies so much!

Yea, that was a wild ruling. Something to due with a lack of a comma and -ing endings if I remember it correctly.

There's a lot of truth in that humor.

More than 3 use a comma before the conjunction. Otherwise, dealers choice.
